Trade talks with Japan will continue

The
U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer says discussions with Japan will
continue. 

The U.S.  negotiating team met with Japan’s economic revitalization minister in Washington Monday and Tuesday.  Lighthizer says Agriculture, manufactured goods, and digital trading standards were discussed.  The U.S. also brought up the 67-billion-dollar trade deficit with Japan.

Lighthizer
says the United States and Japan will meet again soon
to continue these talks.
