President Trump announced an additional 200-billion dollars in tariffs on Chinese products imported to the U.S. beginning September 24th.
Trump and senior administration officials say this third list of goods will have 10% tariffs until the end of the year, and 25% starting January 1st unless the two sides resolve their differences. A large number of fish products, agricultural, and manufacturing items are on this list for new tariffs. Products removed from the original July tariff list include certain chemical inputs for manufactured goods, textiles and agriculture.
