President Trump insists his trade policies are helping farmers correct the trade deficit with China.
“China and others have targeted our farmers- not good, not nice,” he says.
Trump defended his decision to implement tariffs on other countries and said the $12 billion relief package will compensate farmers for their losses.
“We’re going to open up markets and we’re going to do it the way it should be,” he says.
