President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed to restart trade talks that stalled more than a month ago, and Trump says the next round of planned tariffs on Chinese goods is on hold.
Trump says American farmers will start to benefit soon, saying China will be purchasing additional farm products before a trade deal is completed.
Trump said the meeting with his Chinese counterpart was
excellent and that talks are “right back on track.”
