U.S. and EU dairy prices mostly up, while New Zealand is mostly down

Dairy prices for the week were up in the European Union and the U.S., but down in New Zealand except for Class Four milk and skim milk powder.

Analysts at Vault Dairy say skim milk powder prices went up nine-tenths of a percent in the U.S., 2.9% in the EU, and 3.2% in New Zealand.  Prices ranged from $1.16 a pound in America to $1.24 in New Zealand.

Cheese sold for an average of $2.03 a pound in the U.S.
