Mexico and the U.S. announced a partial trade agreement Monday.
President Trump and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto held a joint press conference by telephone, where Trump praised negotiators from both countries. “This is something that’s very special for our manufacturers and for our farmers from both countries for all of the people that work for jobs.”
Both leaders now look forward to getting Canada back to the bargaining table, but Trump calls this the Mexico-U.S.
