The President of the U.S. Dairy Export Council says tariffs and trade tensions between the U.S. and China haven’t stopped recently-established research partnerships. USDEC President Tom Vilsack tells Brownfield they are still working with Jiangnan (Jang Nong) University on a number of potential opportunities. “We’re taking a look at a way in which we could potentially use some of our powder to assist in the creation of more nutritious noodle products. We’re looking at fermented beverages as a potential opportunity there as well.”
Vilsack says those partnerships in China could be even better.
