The next round of trade talks between the U.S. and China will take place in Washington starting this Wednesday.
Last week’s talks in Beijing were described as “constructive” by U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, while Chinese officials touted “new progress” in the negotiations. Beijing’s official news agency reports that U.S. and Chinese negotiators are studying the text of a possible final agreement that could be signed by President Trump and China’s president Xi.
