President Trump and Chinese President Xi will reportedly meet next month at the G20 summit in Argentina.
The two countries haven’t discussed trade in person since August.
The news comes days after Trump says that he doesn’t think China is ready to make a deal. But China’s ambassador to the U.S. has said the country IS ready to make a deal.
Last month, Trump imposed tariffs on $200 billion in Chinese goods and China retaliated by placing tariffs on U.S.
