U.S. dairy industry urges Trump administration to move quickly on Japan trade deal

The

U.S. dairy industry has asked Robert Lighthizer and Sonny Perdue to work

quickly to secure a trade deal with Japan. 

In a letter sent Monday, more than 70 dairy companies, cooperatives, and associations signed onto a letter authored by National Milk Producers Federation and the U.S. Dairy Export Council.  The letter says the U.S. has an opportunity following Japan’s elections to build upon language already in the CPTPP and Japan-EU trade agreements
