U.S. ethanol production surged last week while supplies grew. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.071 million barrels a day, up 19,000 on the week, the highest weekly average since August 2018. Stocks climbed 1.154 million barrels to 23.404 million.The industry continues to wait for more details on year-round E15 use and to see what role it plays in proposed trade deals. The USDA’s next corn for ethanol use estimate is out June 11th.
