Darren
Armstrong, a producer from Belhaven, North Carolina, is the incoming chairman
of the U.S. Grains Council.
Armstrong was elected as the U.S. Grains Council Chairman today during the 59th Board of Delegates meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He
says strengthening markets and trade relationships are top of mind as he begins
the new role.
“China is weighing on everyone’s mind and we also need to get the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement finalized,” he says.
