U.S. makes trade progress with Philippines, working on Ukraine & Argentina

U.S. trade negotiators have announced progress in bilateral trade talks with the Philippines, and are discussing expanded trade with Argentina and Ukraine.

The National Pork Producers welcome the progress with the Philippines, saying it is a priority market for U.S. pork producers.  NPPC says the U.S. shipped nearly 100-million dollars’ worth of pork to the island nation last year, and sales would grow significantly without tariff and non-tariff trade barriers.

Part of the new Trade and Investment Framework Agreement will have the U.S.
