The Senate Ag Committee plans to discuss its version of the farm bill next Wednesday.
Chairman Pat Roberts and Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow say the committee will go over the draft bill and any possible amendments. The Senators issued a statement saying it is time to put what they’ve learned from more than a year of listening to farmers, ranchers, and rural communities into a bipartisan bill that will provide them much-needed certainty.
