Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says an expansion of trade missions is one of the USDA’s biggest priorities in 2024.
“In fact, you’ll see them in areas that are not necessarily in our top four or five areas. Next year we’ll have trade missions to India, Colombia, Vietnam and Morocco. This adds to the trade missions this year in Malaysia, Chile, Panama and Angola.”
He says the Biden administration has made progress establishing relationships in emerging markets.
