USB directors approach role with peers in mind

Two United Soybean Board directors appointed for another term by USDA approach the role with peers in mind.

North central Iowa farmer April Hemmes tells Brownfield Soy Checkoff investments are used for education and promotion.

“So overseeing those dollars is a very important thing, and I take it very seriously because I treat every dollar as if it was my dollar and I was spending it on the farm.”

Joining Hemmes for another 3-year term is southern Minnesota farmer Rochelle Krusemark.
