The USDA has announced new funding for urban agriculture and innovation projects.
More than 50 grants totaling $14.2 million will support new farmers, efforts to expand food access, and other needs of urban communities.
The Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production competitive grants are awarded to planning and implementation projects like community gardens, vertical farms, and hydroponics.
