USDA might reduce corn, soybean crop estimates

The USDA could lower it’s 2018 corn and soybean production estimates Thursday.

On average, analysts expect slight month to month declines in the average yield projections because of harvest delays caused by recent wet weather, which might also affect the quality of this year’s crops. As of Sunday, the harvest paces in more than half of the major corn production states and nearly all of the top soybean states were steady to slower than average.
