The U.S. Dairy Export Council says U.S. export volumes set a record in April. USDEC’s Global Dairy Market Outlook report says more than 213-thousand tons of milk powder, cheese, butterfat, whey, and lactose was exported. That was 31% more than last April, and 1.7% higher than the previous month.
The Council says ingredient sales drove the gains with sales of powder to Southeast Asia up 70% and 4th-highest sales ever to Mexico.
