Moving forward with the US Mexico Canada Agreement is top priority for Illinois lawmakers and ag groups.

Illinois Republican Congressman Rodney Davis says convincing Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring the USMCA up for a vote is the most important issue to be addressed in Washington DC.

“It’s a no-brainer. Without a vote on the USMCA in September, Speaker Pelosi is giving China leverage when it comes to trading with the United States of America.”

Illinois Democratic Congresswoman Cheri Bustos tells Brownfield Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Speaker Pelosi have been good actors throughout the process.
