The 2018 Glenn Kummerow Scholarship presented by the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Foundation was awarded to Corryn La Rue, a Senior at Utah State University with a double major in agricultural communications and journalism.
La Rue has been a member of NAFB since her freshman year of college. She has completed several internships throughout her college career including one with AgNet West in California and Agri-Pulse in Washington D.C.
“I am on my tenth internship and I can’t get enough of them because getting that industry experience is valuable to me and it helps build my confidence that I really can do this.
