Variable crops continue in eastern MO

Harvest results vary across eastern Missouri.

In the northeast, Sam Sullivan with Central Elevator says there’s a clear difference in the crops that received rain and crops that didn’t.

“The areas that didn’t get the rain, soybeans are the size of BBs and corn depth is probably about half of what it is where the rain fell.”

He says both corn and soybeans have been coming to the elevator dry.
