U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says conservation funding in the Inflationary Reduction Act will complement priority areas in the next farm bill.
“This resource is going to allow us to begin to whittle down the very significant waiting list of projects that require conservation resources.”
Speaking with ag reporters, Vilsack said the additional funds will allow drafters of the 2023 Farm Bill more flexibility in addressing a wider range of needs.
