Walz calls bonding bill a top priority heading into 2020 Session

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz tells Brownfield one of his top priorities for the upcoming legislative session is to get a good bonding bill.

“Those are things that impact communities, road and bridge infrastructure. Thinking about those water treatment plants, that hard infrastructure. Education pieces that will come with that.”

The latest state budget forecast shows a surplus of more
than $1.3 billion for fiscal years ’20 and ’21.

Walz says Minnesota needs to make intentional, strategic investments to create opportunities in agriculture.
