Weather keeps fieldwork at standstill in Minnesota

Weather continues to hamper Minnesota farmers.

USDA’s latest weekly crop progress report says more storms added to snow-covered fields and no fieldwork was completed.

There are also concerns of flooding when the snow melts.

Topsoil moisture supplies across the state are almost 90 percent adequate to surplus, and subsoil moisture is rated 83 percent adequate to surplus.
