A farmer in south-central Minnesota says the weather put a
damper on 2019.

“2019 was definitely a challenging year. And I think to sum it up I’ve decided that there’s nothing fun about farming when it’s wet, and it’s even less fun when it’s wet and freezing.”
He says wet, cool conditions pushed back planting this spring, but cover crops helped.
