The return of wet weather to parts of the Upper Midwest could create late season problems for soybean farmers.
University of Minnesota Extension soybean agronomist Seth Naeve says many bean acres have yet to reach full maturity.
“Some of the (soybeans) that were still a little green, if it warms up we could potentially have a little bit more disease pressure.”
He tells Brownfield unseasonably warm temperatures earlier this month helped dry down soybeans.
