Earlier this week, USDA announced it would be temporarily reopening some FSA offices while the government shutdown continues.
Farmers now have today and next Tuesday to visit their
local office, and a state director says you should only contact FSA regarding
existing farm loans.
Minnesota State FSA executive director Joe Martin says the limited reopening of Farm Service Agency offices is primarily focused on loan activities.
