Groceries are more expensive. But when you break down the prices of what you’re buying there are a few interesting that stick out. Steak prices are nearly 11% below where they were a year ago, while ground beef is 3% higher. Pork prices overall are about 2.5% higher than last year, but bacon is down nearly 0.5%. Chicken prices overall, are 14% ABOVE year-ago levels.
