White House program will make broadband more affordable

The Biden administration has announced a program to increase access and lower the cost of high-speed internet for eligible participants.

President Biden, during a press conference Monday, said the effort will reach 80 percent of Americans including 50 percent of rural areas.

“Allowing millions of workers to do their job remotely, allowing small businesses to stay afloat and the strength of their online sales, allowing farmers to use precision agriculture technology to improve their yields,” he says.
