Wide-ranging weather covers the Heartland

Across the Corn Belt, snow remains on the ground, except in parts of the Missouri Valley. Early Tuesday, cold weather and a few snow showers linger across the eastern Corn Belt. However, mild air is overspreading other parts of the Midwest. Later Tuesday, high temperatures should approach or reach 60°F in the middle and lower Missouri Valley.

On the Plains, high winds are raking parts of Montana and are spreading into the Dakotas.
