The winter storm in South Dakota and Minnesota this week may bring moisture, but World Weather Incorporated Senior Meteorologist Drew Lerner says more is needed to break up the drought.
“There’s probably going to be an increase in concern about the spring runoff situation up that way, but we can’t get too wound up about it yet. We’ve got a long way to go this winter and there may be warmer days.”
Lerner tells Brownfield at least one foot of snow or more will fall in central South Dakota this week.
