Wisconsin’s crops made good progress with last week’s warm and dry weather. Six percent of the corn is at silking stage, 8 days ahead of last year and five days above average. Eighty-three percent of the corn is rated good to excellent.
Soybeans are also doing well with 81% reported as good or excellent. Almost 30% of soybeans have bloomed and 2% have set pods.
Potatoes improved last week, with 86% in good to excellent condition.
