Spring weather allowed for more fieldwork to be completed in Wisconsin.
USDA’s latest weekly crop report says corn planting advanced to 14 percent, three days ahead of last year but five days behind the five-year average.
Soybeans are 11 percent planted, three days ahead of a year ago but two days off the normal pace.
Oats are 38 percent planted and potato planting is 47 percent complete.
Hay is rated 61 percent good to excellent and pasture condition improved to 51 percent good to excellent.
