Wisconsin farmers had good weather early last week, allowing combines to roll and some fall tillage and planting work, too.
USDA reporters say 98% of the soybeans are dropping leaves, and harvest is 69% finished. Harvest is about four days ahead of average.
The corn for grain harvest is now 24% finished in Wisconsin, which is two days behind average. The average moisture content for the week was 23%, and 50% of the corn crop was reported as good to excellent. The corn silage harvest is 96% finished, which is a week ahead of average.
