Yet another early-Spring storm to impact much of the Plains, Corn Belt & South

For the remainder of Friday, lingering impacts from a departing Northeastern storm system will include snow showers and gusty winds.  (Through midnight, storm-total snowfall had reached 10 inches in Burlington, Vermont, and 9 inches in Bangor, Maine.)

By Saturday morning, frost and light freezes may again occur as far south as the Tennessee Valley and middle Atlantic States.

During the weekend, windy, showery weather will quickly shift eastward across the northern half of the Plains and into the Midwest.
