Later Tuesday, a host of weather hazards will affect the country, ranging from ongoing blizzard conditions in the north-central U.S. to blowing dust and potential wildfires on the central and southern Plains.
In addition, severe thunderstorms in the Mississippi Valley and environs could result in wind damage, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. The geographic region targeted by Tuesday’s severe weather will be nearly identical to the area struck by the March 31 tornado outbreak.
