Missouri Soybean Research Director Greg Luce says early-planted soybeans yield the best, but there’s still a lot of yield potential for soybeans planted this week. “At June 5, in central north Missouri, we’re looking at almost 90 percent yield potential,” Luce told Brownfield Ag News. “And on the average in southeast [and] southwest Missouri, for soybeans, it’s actually 93 percent.” Luce says not getting pre-emergence weed treatment on a field could result in tough to control marestail.
