Quentin Connealy of Tekamah, Nebraska
A young Nebraska farmer says he’s trying to stay optimistic after the latest round of Missouri River flooding.
Quentin Connealy farms next to the river, near Tekamah, Nebraska. He grew up here, so he’s used to occasional flooding, but he says it seems to be happening with more frequency.
“Seems like it’s getting to be more of the norm, that we’re fighting drying ground out in the spring,” Connealy says.
