Auctions at the Wisconsin State Fair brought in the bucks for FFA and youth animal projects. The Blue Ribbon Meat Products Auction raised almost 100-thousand dollars for the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation to support 4-H education, workshops, and youth development.
The 2019 Best of Show Award went to Louie’s Finer Meats of Cumberland for their Old-World Sausage. The top bid was 45-hundred dollars for the Grand Champion bone-in ham.
The Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction brought in more
than 250-thousand dollars, with much of that going for youth scholarships. The top bid was $47,500 from Meijer for Riley
Runkel’s Grand Champion Steer.
