A 27-year-old man died after being trapped inside a grain bin in Minnesota on Tuesday morning.
The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office said that the man and a 62-year-old man were working in the bin when they became trapped. The 62-year-old man was able to free himself, but the 27-year-old man was not.
Crews responded to the scene and worked to free the 27-year-old man. They were able to get his body out of the bin, but he had died.
The 62-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A first responder was also taken to the hospital for a heat-related injury.
