Authorities in Brookings are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman who was found unresponsive in her home, with first responders attempting to save her life before she was pronounced dead at the ER.
There is no perceived threat to the public.
The investigation is being conducted by the Brookings Police Department and the South Dakota Department of Criminal Investigation.
