On Saturday, February 24th, a Hispanic male reportedly approached a vehicle on SD Highway 28 at Stone Bridge, Lake Poinsett.
The male walked into the driving lane, causing the vehicle to stop, and then attempted to sell jewelry to the driver.
The man was described as very aggressive in his sales tactics. Law enforcement was contacted, and the male left the scene in a black Ford Expedition with California plates, heading west on SD Highway 28 toward US Highway 81.
Authorities are requesting information about the vehicle or individual involved and ask anyone with relevant information to contact the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office at 605-783-3232.
