Applications Open for Inaugural Youth Deer Hunt by Game, Fish and Parks in Partnership with Missouri River Corridor

The Game, Fish and Parks department, in collaboration with the Missouri River Corridor Youth Hunt, is now accepting applications for an exciting inaugural youth deer hunting opportunity.

First-time deer hunters aged 10 to 15 can apply for one of the limited four spaces available.

This comprehensive program not only offers firearm safety and hunting training, but also encompasses field dressing, meat handling, camping skills, and more.

Successful applicants will receive all necessary equipment for a safe and fulfilling three-day hunting and camping experience, including lodging, licenses, firearms, ammunition, safety gear, and transportation.

Accompanied by experienced guides, each young hunter will be paired with a seasoned mentor, with the camp set to commence on December 8th for orientation and hunting scheduled for December 9th to 10th.

The application deadline for this unique opportunity is September 15th.
