Police responded to a robbery in southwest Sioux Falls on Saturday night. The incident occurred near 45th Street and Cathy Avenue, where a woman was threatened with a gun while she was in her car.
The assailants approached the vehicle, knocked on the window, and then brandished the weapon. The victim exited the car, which was running at the time, and the two suspects fled with the vehicle.
Subsequently, the stolen car was involved in an accident when the suspects collided with a parked vehicle.
The suspects abandoned the crash scene, and no arrests have been made at this time.
