Arrest Made in Southwest Sioux Falls After Early Morning Reckless Firearm Incident

In the early hours of Thursday, police responded to a weapons violation in southwest Sioux Falls.

24-year-old Bobby Martinez Jr. fired a gun inside his vehicle while parked outside the home of an acquaintance.

The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on W. Oak Street, and authorities are uncertain about the motive or target of the gunfire.

Despite no injuries, Martinez was arrested for Possession of a Loaded Firearm While Intoxicated, DWI, and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.
