Black Hills Wildfire 90% Contained as Firefighters Continue to Secure Perimeter

The wildfire in the Black Hills National Forest remains within containment lines, with fire crews from multiple states continuing to secure and patrol the perimeter.

As of 8 am Monday, 110 fire personnel from South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Wisconsin, and Colorado are actively working on the fire, which has burned 367 acres.

Significant progress has been made, with the fire now estimated to be 90% contained.

Air tankers and aerial support are on standby to assist as needed, with the safety of firefighters and the public remaining the top priority.
