39-year-old Lacey Leigh Durham of Canton, South Dakota, pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular battery, hit and run, driving under the influence, reckless driving, and speeding after a New Year’s Eve incident.
She allegedly crashed her 2018 Ford Edge SUV, causing damage and injuries, and left the scene on foot.
Durham admitted to drinking that night, and her passenger reported she ignored pleas to stop and ran stop signs.
Her first court appearance ended with a not guilty plea, and her jury trial is set for April 22.
