Copper Wiring Theft Valued at $9,000 Reported by Brookings County Sheriff’s Office

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office has reported the theft of copper wiring, estimated at $9,000, from a construction site on 32nd Street South.

The incident occurred on November 12, 2023, around 9:48 p.m., when unidentified individuals entered the property and removed large-diameter wiring from mining equipment.
