A school bus carrying members of the Waseca High School (Minn.) volleyball team was involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 90, resulting in the death of a South Dakota man.
The incident occurred Saturday night, and while no students or staff from Waseca were seriously injured, the collision claimed the life of the driver of a Ford Mustang, identified as 55-year-old Mark Alan Tigner of Brandon.
The crash occurred near the interchange with Minnesota Highway 22.
The bus, transporting seven teenagers and two adults, was returning from an away game.
The injured individuals were taken to Albert Lea Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
